Somalia: Resilience of Somali Human Rights Defenders in the Face of Threats.

With the support of the Swedish International Liberal Centre (SILC) and the full assistance of the Horn Afrik News Agency for Human Rights HANAHR; the Prestige institute based in Kenya trains 55 Human Rights Defenders HRDs in collaboration and coordination with the Coalition of Somali Human Rights Defenders CSHRDS in Mogadishu, Somalia on the “Survival Skills from the Security Threats Towards A Realization of A Just Community”

The training is part of resilience program for the HRDs in Somalia and it contained an interesting title of ” Training Program for The Somali Human Rights Defenders on the Survival Skills from the Security Threats Towards A Realization of A Just Community.” The training was set to take place at Paradise inn situated in Mogadishu, Somalia on the 6 – 9 November, 2021.

T-Shirts with slogans to support morally the HRDs in Somalia were distributed among the HRDs and other important information were shared with them.

Thanks to all those committed to stand with HRDs facing multiple threats and challenges in Somalia in order to improve their capacity and strengthen their resilience.
